Chiang Mai is located in northern Thailand, and it takes about one hour to fly from Bangkok to Chiang Mai International Airport. There are multiple daily flights between the two cities, making travel very convenient.
Compared to Bangkok, Chiang Mai has a more tranquil atmosphere and a lower cost of living, making it a popular destination for travelers looking to stay for a few days and enjoy a more relaxed travel experience.
While Chiang Mai does not have as many gay saunas as Bangkok, there are still a few worth visiting. Among them, Club One Seven is a well-known gay sauna with an affordable entrance fee of only 140 THB.
The sauna's entrance area features a cashier counter, and there is parking available for motorcycles inside the courtyard. If you are driving a car, you will need to park along the roadside near the entrance.
After purchasing a ticket at the entrance, you will receive an admission slip. Follow the connecting corridor inside, where you can exchange it for a towel and a locker.
This corridor is one of my favorite areas, surrounded by lush greenery. It naturally separates the indoor and outdoor sections of the sauna, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
While the sauna itself is not very large, the courtyard is truly unique. Tropical plants and Lanna-style lanterns, characteristic of Chiang Mai, blend beautifully, adding to the charm of the place.
Although the 2024 floods caused some damage, the sauna has been fully restored. The floors and walls are spotless, and the facilities are well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable experience for visitors.
Basic Sauna Introduction
After entering, you’ll receive a key and pass through a curtain to reach the locker and changing area. The lockers are not brand new, but they provide enough space, and they are labeled with A, B, and C sections for easy identification.
Behind the lockers is a spacious shower area, capable of accommodating multiple people at once, offering a great sense of space.
The dry sauna and steam sauna are located opposite the swimming pool, which itself has a unique design—shaped like a male reproductive organ, sparking a bit of imagination.
The dry sauna is not very large, with enough space for 5 to 6 people in a row. The seats are generally filled to capacity.
The steam sauna is relatively spacious and is divided into two rooms (inside and outside). There is a faint smell of disinfectant in the air. Like most saunas, there is no lighting, creating a mysterious and pleasant atmosphere.
The outside steam room features two rows of fixed brick seats and two dark compartments. The inside room, accessible through a curtain, is slightly larger, with just one row of seating and a dark compartment area. Additionally, there is a door leading directly to the shower area, ensuring smooth flow between spaces.
Second & Third Floor Cruising Area Introduction
The second floor is primarily dedicated to the cruising area, which can be accessed by taking the stairs next to the pool.
The cruising area is not very large, but its design is intricate, featuring several small rooms, a maze-like corridor, and a screening area.
The screening area plays passionate films, and through a small door, you can access another area with more partitioned rooms to cater to different needs.
The third floor is relatively simpler, with a focus on private rooms. Each room is equipped with toilet paper, providing a more private and independent space.
🔹 Friendly reminder: The sauna does not provide condoms. Please bring your own if needed.
